BOUNTIFUL LIFE: Healing & Happiness for Black Women in Western Mass

Bountiful Life provides therapeutic workshops, healing circles, gatherings, talks, coaching, and other programming centered around the emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of Black women in Western Massachusetts.

HALF-DAY WORKSHOP: LETTING GO OF STORIES THAT DON’T SERVE US

Bountiful Life’s Letting Go of Stories that Don’t Serve Us is a half-day workshop for Black women who want to identify, process and move past old stories about ourselves and others that keep us stuck, never feeling completely free. This 4-hour workshop will provide space, tools, and support for letting go of stories we’ve carried for too long, allowing them to be replaced by new stories that serve our healing, wholeness and joy.

Black women are among the most under-diagnosed when it comes to adult ADHD. As a result, we often lack insight into our experiences, behaviors, and struggles–insight into ourselves–that would allow us to live more bountiful lives! Whether you’ve been diagnosed with ADHD or have undiagnosed ADHD traits, having access to support can change your life. JOIN US.

UPCOMING FOR FALL

8-WEEK WORKSHOP: BOUNTIFUL NEW YEAR

Are you a Black woman seeking healing and connection? Would you feel more free and held in therapeutic spaces with other Black women who are seeking the same?

BOUNTIFUL LIFE’s  8-Week Bountiful New Year Workshop is a series of therapeutic sessions dedicated to the individual and collective emotional health and overall well-being of Black women, with an emphasis on the experiences of queer women, women over 40, and mothers of young children.

Over the course of eight 90-minute sessions, we’ll connect with a community of supportive professionals and peers who understand the specific challenges we face on our paths to transformative growth. Sessions provide opportunities to process racialized harm, let go of stories that don’t serve us, (re)connect with our bodies, acquire tools for distress, receive curative osteopathic treatment, utilize therapeutic writing, and more, all tailored to our unique experiences as Black women.

In this workshop, we’ll share in learning new methods and strategies to support our emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health, with the goal of cultivating balanced and joyful lives–BOUNTIFUL LIVES!

ABOUT BOUNTIFUL LIFE

Bountiful Life provides therapeutic workshops, healing circles, gatherings, talks, coaching, and other programming centered around the emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of all Black women in Western Massachusetts, including queer women, elders, and mothers of young children.

I’ve always been someone who, in the midst of my own pain and trauma, created space for myself and others like me to come together, as I did when I created Black Girl Dangerous and the BGD blog, and the Get Free workshop. At this moment, as a Black woman living in the Pioneer Valley, I’m in desperate need of access to spaces where I can seek healing and connection with the support of other Black women, and I’m not the only one, not by far. Many of us are deeply disconnected here. Over the last couple of years, I’ve become painfully aware of our collective need for safe spaces where we can seek wellness–emotionally, socially and spiritually–and I’m eager to help create those spaces.
